Initiating an illegal brick kiln sealed in Mathorpaja village of Ghushidaha Uni of Saghata Upazila of Gaibandha. Two managers were sentenced to one year imprisonment and a fine of 50 thousand taka.
Executive Magistrate and Saghata Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Sardar Mostafa Shahin conducted the mobile court on Tuesday afternoon.
The convicts are Jahangir Alam (38), son of Abdul Matin Mita of Jadurtai village of Saghata and Jiban Kumar Sarkar (27), son of Bhim Kumar Sarkar of Bonnarpasa village of the same upazila.
In-charge (IC) of Bonnerpa Police Investigation Center (IC) Rakib Hossain along with The policemen were present and said that in the first week of this month, the brick kiln of the brick kiln named MB BRICS has no valid documents and the brick kiln will be sealed to stop all activities.
