Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has arrested four drug smugglers with 4 kg of ganja in the Salanga operation of Sirajganj.
On Tuesday (July 26) at 11 am, the head of RAB-12, Major (Midita Officer) M. Rifat-bin-Asad confirmed this in a press release.
The arrested are - Purbafulmati village of Kuigram district. Samad's son Azgar Ali (35), Mocha Mocha of Abul Kashem of new railway station area of the same district. Koli Akhtar (22), son of Mofazzal of Tsash North Otabda Dam area of Sirajganj. Majid (39) and Tajul Islam's son Enamul Haque (23).
Major M. Rifat-bin-Asad said that 4 drug smugglers were arrested with 4 kg of ganja in the Bhuigai bus stand area around 7 pm on Monday.
It is known in the initial interrogation that these drug smugglers have been selling illegal narcotic drugs in different areas of the district, which have been evading the eyes of the law enforcement agencies for a long time.
