“436 more landless and homeless families will be handed over land and homes in Nya Lakshmipur across the country under the slogan ”Right to shelter, Sheikh Hasina's gift".
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will hand over these lands and houses through video conference from Ganobhaban on July 21 on the occasion of Mujib Year.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Anatar Hossain Akand gave this information during the press briefing of the ‘Third Stage (2nd Step) Land and Home Production Program’ in the conference room of the Deputy Commissioner on Tuesday morning.
He also said that already 1786 families have been handed over to 1786 families in the 1st phase and 2 phases.
Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Sajita Parveen, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Education and ICT) Meher Nigar, Laxmipur Press Club President Hossain Ahmed Helal, General Secretary Saidul Islam Pabel and other working journalists were present.
