The Department of Health has decided to observe Booster Dose Day across the country today.
The nationwide campaign will be held today to provide 7.5 million vaccines to 7.5 million people in one day, and 7.5 million vaccines will be given as boosters (3rd) and second doses.
Anyone over 18 years of age can take a booster dose when they take the second dose and complete the 4 months of the second dose, which will be given as a booster dose.
In a press conference at the press conference on Monday afternoon, Health and Family Welfare Minister Zahid Malek said that during this campaign, all the government medical college hospitals, specialty hospitals, district headquarters hospitals, upazila health complexes as well as city corporations, municipalities and upazilas will be given COVID-19 vaccines.
In order to properly give 7.5 million people vaccinations in one day, 623 stations and 15 thousand 558 tectonic centers have been arranged for vaccination.
