Italian President Mario Draghi's resignation letter was dismissed by President Sergio Materella.
On Thursday evening, Draghi said his coalition government had lost confidence, so he wanted to resign, according to him, on Thursday night, he sent his resignation letter to the president, and then President Sergio Janitz said he was not accepting his resignation.
The President's office said in a statement that he was not accepted to accept the resignation of the Prime Minister, he was invited to come to Parliament.
Earlier, the Prime Minister had won the Senate's trust vote, but the partner of the Draghi coalition government, the ‘Five Star Movement’, did not participate in the vote.
The Prime Minister then said that the coalition government is no longer in agreement, and he informed his cabinet members that he would submit his resignation letter to the president at night.
