Bangladesh has sent a significant amount of dry food, blankets, tents and medicines as an emergency humanitarian aid in the earthquake-affected Afghanistan.
On Tuesday, the Bangladesh government's support reached Afghanistan and sent the support to Afghanistan, thanking Bangladesh.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Dhaka said in a press release on Tuesday that thousands of citizens were killed by a strong earthquake in the eastern part of Afghanistan on June 22. This is the case that more than 2,000 seriously injured and hundreds of homes were completely destroyed.
As a result of the earthquake, food and water crisis, housing crisis and lack of emergency medical services, there has been a total humanitarian disaster. The relief materials of Bangladesh sent to the general public of Afghanistan have been collected as donations from the armed forces department, the state-owned company Assensital Drugs Company Limited, Bangladesh Garment Manufacturers and Exporters Association (BGMA), Pran-RFL Group, Akiz Food and Bevez Limited.
