The government has instructed everyone to wear masks compulsorily in shoppers, shopping malls, markets, hotels and restaurants. If he violates the order, he will face legal punishment.
The Cabinet Division issued a six-point directive on Tuesday (June 28) in an order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection.
The instructions are-
- 1. All media requests should be made to encourage the public to follow the hygiene rules.
- 2. Wearing masks and maintaining social distancing should be maintained in religious places of prayer (mosques, temples, churches, etc.).
- 3. Making masks mandatory in all cases is to be implemented with the ‘no mask no service’ policy, maintaining social distancing, and avoiding public gatherings as much as possible.
- 4. If symptoms of fever, cold, cough or COVID-19 appear, encourage a Covid test.
- 5. Everyone should wear masks compulsorily in shops, shopping malls, markets, buyers and sellers, otherwise he will face legal punishment.
- 6. In the hygiene of hygiene and wearing masks, the khutba imams will be aware of the Friday prayers in all mosques.
The directive signed by Deputy Secretary of the Cabinet Division, Mohammad Khorshed Alam Khan, is being discussed in the higher echelons of the government that the rate of COVID-19 cases is increasing rapidly across the country and considerable laxity is being observed in public wearing masks and following hygiene rules.
The Covid-19 National Technical Consultative Committee has been requested to comply with the June 14 meeting and implement guidelines for COVID prevention.
