In Narsingdi, there was an incident of murder in the area next to the Dhaka Sylhet Mahasak after calling from a business establishment.
On Saturday (June 25) around 12 noon, the murder took place in the Khamarchar area of Naratanpur Union of Belab Upazila of Narsingdi District. Kabir Hossain (45) is the son of Abdul Hait of Char village of Naratanpur Union Farm in Belab Upazila.
The deceased Md. Kabir Hossain was the main accused in a murder case. Recently, Kabir Hossain used to trade in LPG gas cylinders in Baricha market in Baricha market, locals said that Kabir Hossain was staying at the business establishment of Baraicha Bazar till 12 noon. A person called him and said something and got out.
After about 30 minutes of this incident, the local people saw his body in the char area of the farm adjacent to the Dhaka-Sylhet Mahasak. They saw the injuries of the sharp weapon on the head of the same person, and he was killed on the spot due to excessive bleeding.
On receiving the news, the family members of the deceased and local people came to the spot and informed the police of Belab police station, Md. Safat Hossain Palash, the officer-in-charge (OC) of Belab police station, came to the spot and recovered the body of the deceased. After the police prepared the postal report of the body, the police sent it to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue for investigation.
According to the police and local sources, on October 12, 2017, Sohrab alias Musa, son of the then UP member of Naratanpur Unit Parishad, Rina Begum, was killed by the Crime Department of Crime, after being on the run for three years after the murder, and the Criminal Investigation Department CID arrested him from Maona in Sreepur, Gazipur on October 2.
Belab Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Safatte Hossain Palash said that the deceased was accused in the murder case and it is not yet known who or who killed him. The body has been sent to Narsingdi Sadar Hospital morgue for investigation. The real cause of death will be known after the investigation report is received.
