The door opened for the much awaited Padma Bridge. The end of the long wait.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina officially inaugurated the Padma Bridge at 11:48 am on Saturday at Maota end of Munshiganj by paying toll.
Earlier, he reached Mao from Dhaka by helicopter shortly before 10 am, where the Prime Minister addressed the Aushit Sudhi rally on the occasion of the opening ceremony.
