After the flood water bridge was closed for five days, the train movement on the Dhaka-Monsingh-Netrakona-Mohanganj railway has resumed.
From Thursday morning, Mohanganj to Netrakona-Mantamsingh has started intercity and local trains on the Dhaka railway.
Barhatta station master Golam Rabbani said that the Dhaka-bound Haor Express was stranded in Mohanganj.
On the morning of June 18, the bridge of Islampur in Islampur between Mohanganj and Barhatta upazila of the district was destroyed by flood water.
Dhaka-bound Haor Express train and Barhatta Mohanganj bound for a local train were stranded in Mohanganj.
Station Master Golam Rabbani said that it is possible to repair the bridge and the water will go down from the road.
A day after the incident, trains from Barhatta station along with Dhaka and Mamansingh were running from Barhatta station.
