Two people were killed in a head-on collision between a truck and a Laguna in Rajshahi Puthita Upazila. 10 passengers were seriously injured in Laguna. The accident took place at Ghoshpukur, adjacent to the Puthita Fataur Service of Dhaka-Rajshahi Mahsak, on Tuesday (June 21).
The deceased were Sumanuzzaman (38) son of Manchur Ali of Baneshwar Uni of Upazila and Rasedul Islam (30) of Charghat Upazila.
Also, Laguna passengers Bhodar Mita (55), Russell (21), Zillur Rahman (22), Sagar Ali (22), Roni (27), Manjura Begum (65), Pinjira (30), Tufan (8), Ferdowsi (45) and Abdullah (15) were seriously injured.
According to eyewitness sources, a truck from Natore (No-Dhaka Metro-T 22-9039) was heading towards Rajshahi city, from Puthita to Natore from a passenger in Laguna district. When the journey reaches the place, the truck-Laguna collides head-on in the passenger Laguna, which will be next to the sage.
