Bangladesh Press Council Chairman Justice Md. Nizamul Haque Nasim has given a strict message that journalism is not for Adar Beparis.
‘Nowadays, he is the one who wants to be a journalist. But journalism is not for the Adar Bepari. Journalism is for those who are real journalists. In the end, they will be the same.’
He gave this information a day-long training workshop titled ‘Press Council Law and Right to Information Act’ at Rajshahi Circuit House, ‘Associate the press conference’, Justice Md. Nizamul Haque Nasim said in the speech of the chief guest, "Now anyone is blackmailing people. It is certainly insulting to us. It is certainly an insult to us. For this reason, it is necessary to determine who the journalists are and need new laws."
The new law against unjournalism is the press council chairmen, saying, ‘If a journalist does not, the maximum fine up to 10 lakh rupees is being imposed in the new law. But I personally am in favor of a day in jail. If he goes to jail, he will feel that my work is different. I can't do it again. I hope this law is in the cabinet. I hope it will be passed in the next parliament.’
‘The press council was founded by Bangabandhu. He respected journalists. He felt that journalists are the kind of punishment for whom the press council is punished. That's why most of the punishment for journalists is rebuke in the press council law.
