After the death of Rina Khatun, a housewife who was on a motorcycle in Kushtitar Kumarkhali, she was under treatment.
On Friday (June 10) around 9 o'clock in the night, the accident took place at Nandalpur Unitn Parishad area of Kushtita-Rajbai regional sajkar.
Injured in the incident, Jaya Khatun was undergoing treatment at Kushtia General Hospital around 1 am. The accident was initially believed to have been caused by the accident that the covered van was overtaking the motorcycle.
According to the police and local sources, the injured Johnny was going to his father-in-law in Panshar Machpa area on a motorcycle with his wife and child on a motorcycle.
It is also known that Johnny and his son Joni were injured. Later, the locals rescued them and sent them to Kushtita Sadar Hospital.
Ashraful Alam, resident medical officer of Kushtia General Hospital, told Dhaka Post that Rina Khatun had died before being brought to the hospital in the same incident, the husband and daughter of the deceased were admitted to the hospital in the same incident at around 10 pm. The girl died around 1 am while undergoing treatment. The husband is in hospital treatment and his condition is fairly good.
Kumarkhali Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kamruzzaman Talukder said the mother and daughter of the motorcyclist died in the coverage of the covered van. The incident was taken by the husband and the husband was undergoing treatment at the hospital. The covered van was seized from the Toll Plaza area.
