In Laxmipur, a young woman (23) who came to Ramganj from No'akhali Sonapur in Ramganj bus terminal was reported to have suffered a heart attack to protect her from rape.
Md. Shahjahan is the son of deceased Nuruzzaman Mita of Deoan Ba'ir of Ramganj Municipal West Kazirkhil village and father of 4 children. The incident took place at 8 pm on Friday night at 8 pm Ramganj police station rescued the young woman and took her into police custody.

Ramganj police station officer-in-charge Mohammad Emdadul Haque said that a case of attempted rape against 3 people in this poison has been arrested. We have arrested one person named Azad Hossain and the arrest of the rest of the accused is continuing.
