Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman National Gold Cup Football Tournament Boys Under-17 was inaugurated in Rakhtpur, Lakshmipur.
Today Thursday (May 19) the upazila administration organized this tournament at the traditional Ratpur LM Pilot Model High School ground.
Executive Officer Anjna Das presided over the event. Upazila Chairman Principal Mamunur Rashid was present as the chief guest in the event, Raatpur Municipality Metor Gitas Uddin Rubel Bhatt, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Russell Iqbal, UP Chairman Advocate Yousuf Jalal and others were present as special guests.
In the first match of the opening day, 04 Sonapur Unit Tribeca 2-0 in Sonapur Union Tribeca, 9th South Char Ababil Union No. 10 in the 1-0 and 105 Charpata Unit No. 05 Charpata Unity 05 in the third match and 05 No. Charpata Unit 1-0.
