Habiganj A discussion meeting was held on the occasion of Land Service Week in Banachang.
The speakers present in the meeting demanded that the digital system be introduced. The overall service quality of the land office has improved.
Also, the rate of common people's hustle and bustle is decreasing day by day.
Land Service Week was observed on Monday, May 19 at 10 am on the initiative of Banitachong Upazila Land Office.
On this occasion, a rally was taken out. The rally was conducted by the main chief of the rally. Bananichang Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Iffat Ara Zaman Urmi presided over the rally and discussion meeting.
Upazila Corruption Prevention Committee General Secretary Mufti Ataur Rahman, Banitchong Press Club President Moshahed Mita, Assistant Land Officer Rezaul Karim, Alamgir Reza etc. spoke in this manner.
On the occasion of Land Service Week, various activities including registration, e-namjar applications for the purpose of landing and online agricultural development tax are taken up and the transfer of land arranged among the landless people has been undertaken.
In this regard, Banitachong Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Lands) Iffat Ara Zaman Urmi said in his speech, "We carry out all the activities of our land office with great transparency. This is possible due to the introduction of the office activities digital system."
In this regard, Banichang Upazila Executive Officer Padmasan Singh said, the formation of Digital Bangladesh is the first to be formed. Many had doubts.
It is real in the present time. The activities of many offices including the Upazila Land Office are ensuring greater independence and accountability as the digital system of service, which will accelerate the future.
