The mobile court has sentenced dredgers, unloads, loads, bulk grades and one person to 6 months without labor in Khashkaulita area of Chauhali upazila of Sirajganj.
On Saturday evening, Khashkaulita area of the upazila was conducted a mobile court.
Upazila Executive Officer and Executive Magistrate Mocha Afsana Isamin said that a gang was illegally extracting sand from the Yamuna river for a long time.
Saturday evening Khashkauli area The raids were sentenced to 6 months imprisonment for dredgers, unloads, loads, bulk grades and the seized goods were kept in the custody of the naval police.
Officer-in-charge of Naval Police Aminul Islam, Project implementation officer Majnu Mita, Thana Police and Ansar forces cooperated in this operation.
