Shahangacha and Mahishamus of Sirajganj Sadar Upazila are separate accidents.
Two students including students were killed.
At least 5 people, including an SSC candidate named Esmut Shahdat Hossain, have been injured and the injured have been admitted to Bogua Shaheed Gitaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
The accident took place at Shahangacha in Sirajganj-Kazipur Regional Saskar Sadar Upazila around 8 am on Friday and Mahishamusa Bazar area around 10 am.
The deceased are Naeem Islam, son of Anadar Hossain of Mahishamua village of Ratankandi Uni of Sirajganj Sadar Upazila and Madan, son of Gopal of Naoda Fulkocha village.
Sirajganj Sadar Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Rezaul Karim said that two students Naeem and Shahadat Bai were coming to the market in a battery-powered autovan in the morning. When they reached the bridge adjacent to Mahishamua Bazar, the auto van went to the Khade Khade Khade.
On the other hand, Sirajganj Sadar Police Station Sub-Inspector (SI) Shariful Islam said that a pickup van was going towards Kazipur from Sirajganj around 8 am. The pickup van reached the Shahangacha bridge in Sadar Upaz and collided head-on with a passenger easy bike, which injured 5 passengers of an easybike.
Locals rescued them and Madan died on the way to Bogua Shaheed Gitaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
