Palash Upazila of Narsingdi district has arrested two people on the charge of gang-raping a housewife.
They were arrested from Notakanda village of Ghazarita Union of Palash Upazila of Narsingdi district on Friday (May 6th May) night.
The accused accused are Farukh Mita, son of Amir Hossain of Dhanaicar village of Ghazarita Uniitan and Delotar Hossain, son of deceased Yusuf Mita of Uttar Chandan village. According to the police, the housewife went to the office with her neighbors Farukh Mita and Deloar Hossain to work in the office on Friday (May 6) due to her husband's long-time family turmoil and discord, and there the husband went to the office and there to the husband. On the way back to the divorce, the housewife was told about the arrival of the housewife. On the way, Farukh and Delotar No'takanda village, on the way, they forcibly raped her in a secluded place next to a cemetery in a secluded place.
Later, the abused housewife Palash police station filed a complaint against them and the police arrested them.
In this regard, Palash Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Ilyach said, the arrested accused admitted to being involved in rape during the initial interrogation. The accused housewife has been sent to the hospital for medical examination and the next legal action is under process.
