The Prime Minister said that Bangladesh Labor Act, 2018 has been enacted by modernizing and modernizing Bangladesh Labor Act to ensure a safe working environment, social security and worker welfare by maintaining cordiality and good relations between the owners and workers.
Sheikh Hasina also said that Bangladesh Sramik Kalyan Foundation has been formed to ensure the welfare of workers working in different sectors of the country.
From this fund, if a worker engaged in any institutional-informal sector in any sector is disabled or dies due to accident, emergency treatment is available for treatment and treatment of incurable diseases and also financial support for the higher education of workers' children.
