After the incident of the bride's maternal uncle's murder in Lakshmipur, the incident took place in Madhya Char Ramani Mohan village of Sadar Upazila on Thursday night, and the groom's father has been accused of murder.
The deceased Nazim Sardar is the son of deceased Hasu Sardar of the same area and the bridegroom is the father of Tarif, the son of Noora Sardar, a resident of the same area.
Relatives of the deceased said that Tarif, son of Golap Sardar of Char Ramani Mohan Uni of Sadar Upazila, and Abbas Sardar's son of the same area, secretly ate Nupur (the grandson of the deceased) on Thursday night, when the poison came to light on Thursday night, the father of the bridegroom, the father of the bridegroom, and the bridegroom, was beaten up by Nazim Sardar.
The relatives of the injured Nazim were rescued and taken to Sadar Hospital where the doctor on duty declared Nazim Sardar dead.
Laxmipur Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Jasim Uddin said, ‘The police have been sent to the spot. The body is kept in the Sadar Hospital morgue. Legal action will be taken after investigation.‘
