An old man named Chapat Abbas Ali (60) of Mahasak Parapara Samat bus in Shivpur of Narsingdi was killed.
The accident took place at Saitanagar bus stand in Shibpur upazila of Dhaka-Sylhet Mahasam in Narsingdi district on the morning of Biebar (10th April) and was the son of deceased Sultan Ali of the village of Putita Unit of Shibpur Upazila.
His four sons and two sons have been in the hut, police and relatives in the highway, Abbas Ali left for Narsingdi on Sunday morning and he crossed Mahasak at Saidanagar bus stand and hit him in a Sylhet-bound London Express bus.
He was seriously injured and later rescued him when the locals rescued him and went to Narsingdi District Hospital where he was declared dead by the Sub-Inspector (SI) of Police in Itakhla Higho. Mozammel Haque said, we immediately arrested the bus and the bus after receiving the news of the accident.
The accident caused the driver's over speed and further legal action will be taken after discussing with the family.
