BNP candidates have boycotted the 4 units of Kamalnagar upazila of Laxmipur and they boycotted the vote on the Dalit decision.
(Today) Tuesday at 11am They announced the boycott of the vote by holding a press conference at the upazila BNP office.
Jamal Uddin Talukder, president of Esmut Upazila BNP and chairman candidate of Patatorhat Union, said, "The people of the government party have blasted cocktails and captured the center and beat up our agents.
The candidates for boycotting are - Jamal Uddin Talukdar of Paterirhat Uniton and Torabganj Unitne Md. Mosleh Uddin, Hazirhat Unit's Farhad Hossain Mita, Charfalkan Unit's Abdul Adud Howladar.
Kamalnagar Upazila BNP General Secretary Nurul Huda Chowdhury and local leaders were present in the press conference.
