On the occasion of International Women's Day, a rally discussion meeting was held at the office of the Deputy Director of the District Administration and District Women's Directorate.
The discussion meeting was held on Tuesday (March 8) morning. This year's theme is ‘Gender equality for the sustainable future’.
On the occasion of the day, a rally was taken out under the leadership of the Deputy Commissioner. The rally went around the various sects of the city.
Later, a discussion meeting was held in the meeting room of the District Commissioner under the chairmanship of Noore Safura Ferdous, Deputy Director of District Women's Department of Women's Department.
The chief guest was the chief guest at the event, including Deputy Commissioner of Kushtia, Muhammad Saidul Islam, Additional Deputy Commissioner Sharmin Akhter, Additional Superintendent of Police Mostafizur Rahman, former Commander of Kushtia District Freedom Fighters Sangsad Rafiqul Alam Tuku and others.
Hundreds of women, representatives of NGO organizations and students of schools and colleges were present in this meeting.
