Barguna District Representative:
Three sisters have been on a hunger strike on a shroud to get their land and return home due to their possession in Barguna.
They have announced that they will go on a hunger strike until they get home and land due to themselves.
They have submitted a written application to the Prime Minister and Deputy Commissioner.
They are on hunger strike in the premises of Barguna District Commissioner's office since February 23. They are the deceased Abdul Rashid of Golaghata village in Bamnar, Ruby Akhtar (27), Jasmine Akhtar (18) and Mosa Rozina (16).
After his parents died, Ruby went to Chittagong with her two younger sisters, working in a dress factory where she was working with two sisters.
After a few years in 2019, he returned to his home and saw that the influential people of the area had taken over their ancestral property.
They even took them out of the house and they were living inhumane lives since then.
Among the three sisters, sister Rupi Akhter said, after the death of her parents, only brother also died. My younger sisters used to study from the house of a bad relationship relative. Three years ago I came to Baba and saw that all the property of our father was occupied by the influential people of the area.
Ruby also said that the poison was reported to UNO, Upazila Chairman, and DC but they could not give us any answer.
So we are forced to sit on hunger strike, we will continue our hunger strike until we demand and no intervention from the Prime Minister.
