The local residents said that 1000 families have been freed from waterlogging by the work of removing the soil from the Gaimra canal to work on the road and the road.
Earlier, this Gaimra canal was full, and the waterlogging was seen by the surrounding villages, the fields were damaged, the crops of the fields were destroyed.
Villagers Moizul Islam (70), Abdul Malek Majhi (60), Sheikh Farid (28) said that it is beneficial for me in road work and digging canals, if it rains earlier, the crops of our land will be damaged when it rains earlier, and during the monsoon season, the water of the flood surges in the house and floats in the water of the flood season. There is no possibility of water coming from the high road.
Bilkich Begum said that the same water would have risen in the same rainy season, and the house would have been submerged, it would have been very difficult for boys and girls to go to school, the road was raised, the water was more likely not to come.
