On Wednesday, Bamana Upazila Chhatra League President Morshved Urban Goldar and General Secretary Al-Amin Hossain Johnny went to appear in the court, and the learned Hakim Russell Majumdar of the court sent them to jail.
According to the court sources, the learned court granted bail to 8 more accused in the case. The bailees are the upazila Aomi League organizing secretary and current UP chairman Chowdhury Kamruzzaman Sagir, Jahangir Hossain Molla, joint general secretary Jasim Uddin Pintu, Krija Bishtak Secretary Md. Kabir Hossain, Chhatra League leader Al-Amin, Moon Farazi, Jubo League leader Ami Talukder and Md. Rabbi.
According to the source of the case, the election of four uni s Parishads of Bamana upazila was held in the first phase of Bamana upazila on June 21 last year. Earlier this election was scheduled to be held on April 11 but the election commission postponed the election due to Corona. The learned court ordered 10 accused to appear in the case.
