Today, December 11, 2021, at 10 am on Saturday, a discussion meeting was held under the initiative of “Swatantra Ibtedati Madrasah Teachers” Unity".
In the event, Sadar Upazila President Maulan A. Rob was present as the chief guest as the chief guest, District President Maulana A. Rahim, District General Secretary Journalist Maulana Mohammad Chaif Ullah Helal was the special guest. Teacher leader Dr. Mohammad Yusuf, Makchudur Rahman, Fakhruddin, Habibur Rahman Jasim, Delotar Hossain, Saiful Islam, among others were present.
The speakers said in the event, "We cannot get any salary after teaching for 37 years. In June 2019, Hon'ble Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and Education Minister Dipu Muni Shiksha were paid for the national scale of the independent Ibtedati Madrasah. State Minister Mahibul Hasan Naufel, Education Secretary Alamgir signed but till date we have not received any salary allowance.
Therefore, we strongly demand for our national scale salary, otherwise we will hold the next program on January 16, 2022.
