Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested Metor Abbas Ali of Rajshahi's Katakhali Municipality on the charge of placing a mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
RAB's law and media wing assistant director ASP ANM Imran Khan has informed reporters this information.
The two-time Metr Abbas Ali, who was elected on the boat symbol, was slammed on social media since the audio of the construction of the mural of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the construction of it was circulated on social media since last Monday night.
In his statement, Rajshahijudge has started uprising, although Metor Abbas denied the whole incident, which was filed against Meta Abbas under the Digital Security Act of Rajpa, Botalita and Chandrima Thana of the Rajshahi metropolis last Tuesday night.
