After the announcement of the polling schedule on June 2, EC Secretary Md. Humaun Kabir Khondkar had written to the Cabinet Secretary to keep the polling operations out of the lockdown.
Deputy Secretary of EC Election Management Branch. Atitar Rahman continued that letter and gave such a letter to the District Administrators.
On Monday (June 07), he said, there are 371 UP, 11 Municipal, Laxmipur-2 constituencies on June 21. And on July 14, Dhaka-14, Comilla-5 and Sylhet-3 constituencies will be held.

The Election Commission had elected several locations, including the first-ever parliament by-election, which was conducted in accordance with the hygiene rules.
On March 7, 371 Union Parishads (UPs), 11 municipalities, EC had scheduled the polling date on April 11 in Lakshmipur-2 constituencies. The EC had set aside the polls 10 days before the polling due to Corona. The EC was postponing the polls 10 days before the polling.
Out of 371 UP, 120 districts bordering UP, districts which are at high risk of corona infection, are already given a few districts lock down.
