The incident took place at Chandraganj West Bazar on Saturday (April 10) around 4 am in the 1000 hours of the incident.
The affected businessmen said that the fire started from the electric short circuit in Chandraganj market at night. In the moment, the fire broke out in the ideal library of the market, Abhiruchi Suites, Seoul Medical, Harun Store, Loknath Salon and Alauddin Store, agents of Loknath Salon and newspaper Alauddin Store.
The fire started in the early morning through an electric shot circuit from Abhiruchi Suites, which immediately fired the flames and other shops were cited in his shop.
In this regard, the general secretary of Chandraganj Bazar Committee Mao Abdul Qudduch said that after the news of the fire, the people's representatives including the OC of Chandraganj police station rushed to the spot. Later, the cooperation of the service and the locals was brought under fire. However, he claimed that the businessmen were suffering a loss of crores of rupees in the fire.
Laxmipur Fatur Service Station Officer Otasi Azad said, initially they are believed to have started the fire from an electrical short circuit. After 3 hours of efforts, the fire was brought under control, but the amount of damage was not immediately known, but the damage will be reported later.
