Senior Joint Secretary General of the party Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed has announced a nationwide protest program on the occasion of the third anniversary of BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia's imprisonment.
He announced this program on behalf of BNP in a press conference at the party's central office in Nayapaltan in the capital on Saturday afternoon.
Rizvi claimed that BNP chairperson and former prime minister Begum Khaleda Ji will complete three years of imprisonment in a false case on February 8. On that day, BNP will hold a protest rally in all the districts and cities of the country, including Dhaka city, to protest the imprisonment of the country leader.
