cover ;; Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulation Commission (BTRC) Chairman Shyam Sundar Sikdar has said that illegal and fake mobile handsets will be stopped from July 1.
However, BTRC Cheeterman said that there will be no problem in using the handset in the hands of the customer.
The chairman of the commission said this at a press conference at BTRC building on Thursday (January 7).
He said that the registration process of the handset in the customer will start from July 1. The illegal handsets in the market will no longer work.
