On July 30, the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (CMM) of Dhaka, the relevant branch of the investigation officer DB Inspector Md. Shalul filed the charge sheet in the case, and then on August 13, the case was transferred to the Dhaka Metropolitan Judge Court by Metropolitan Magistrate Zulfikar Hatt.
