cover: A child named Juba has died in 37 people who were burnt in the incident of Baitus Salat Jame Masjid in Westertla area of Fatulla of Naratanganj Sadar Upazila.
He died on Friday (September 4) around 12 o'clock in the night while undergoing treatment at the National Sheikh Hasina Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute.
Deputy Assistant Director of Facer Service and Civil Defense Abdullah Al Arefin and Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Nahida Barik confirmed.
In this incident, the child's father, Julhas, is undergoing treatment at this institute.
The coordinator of the institute confirmed the death of the child. Samant Lal Sen said that 95 percent of the child's body was covered.
According to a source, the child went to the mosque with his father to pray, where the father and son were burnt in the AC explosion.
It should be noted that at around 9:30 on Friday night, there was an explosion in the Baitus Salat Jame Masjid in Westeral of Naratanganj Sadar Upazila, and 40 people were inside the mosque.
