According to sources in the Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, the Prime Minister has earlier inaugurated 257 upazilas 100% electricity programme. After the inauguration of these 31 upazilas today, a total of 288 upazilas will come under 100% electricity. As a result, 97 percent of the people of the country will enjoy electricity.
