Laxmipur, a passenger and an Econo bus collided head-on with the Shatabdi Paribahan driver Milan, who was killed and 10 others injured.
The accident took place in the Charchamita area of Dhaka-Rathapur Mahasaker on Friday morning. After the accident, all the vehicles on that route. The traffic is closed for 2 hours and then the traffic is normal around 9 am.
The deceased bus driver Milon's or Bhola district has been kept in the Laxmipur Sadar Hospital morgue, while the injured have been admitted to various clinics including Laxmipur Sadar Hospital.
According to the witnesses and police, a passenger bus named Shatabdi (Chatt Metro B-11-0389) from Khulna reached the Laxmipur North Temuhani area and the headlights of the Gair were damaged. At least 10 passengers of the Shatabdi Paribahan were killed on the spot by another passenger bus named Econo (Dhaka Metro B-14-8034) from the opposite area of the Dhaka-Ratpur Mahaskar Mahasakera in the thick turf in the middle of the torch light in the midst of the ban.
Among the injured, Farooq Hossain, Mamunur Rashid, Suman, Shahjalal and Sohail have been admitted to Laxmipur Sadar Hospital. Other injured have been admitted to different clinics.
