Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on the occasion of his 45th martyrdom anniversary and National Mourning Day.
He paid tribute by placing a wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at 32 Dhanmondi at around 5 am on Saturday morning.
After that, Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina stood silently for a while to respect Bangabandhu.

Later, a special prayer was offered for the forgiveness and peace of the souls of the martyrs of August 15.
After paying respects, the Prime Minister stayed inside the Bangabandhu Bhavan for some time.

After that, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina went to Banani graveyard from Dhanmondi where her mother Bangamata Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib, brother Sheikh Kamal, Sheikh Jamal and Sheikh Russell, along with the 15th August martyrs, paid tribute to the martyrs of the cemetery.
