Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has urged everyone to come forward to build the ‘Golden Bangla’ of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu's dream of hunger, poverty and illiteracy by remembering the great sacrifice of the martyred intellectuals. He said that no sage can stop the progress of the nation.
The Prime Minister said these things in a message on Tuesday afternoon. The Prime Minister gave this message on the occasion of Martyr Intellectual Day on December 14.
Sheikh Hasina said, ‘Martyred Intellectual Day’ is a black chapter in our nation life. At the dawn of independence, the anti-independence evil forces killed Bengali intellectuals in the hateful conspiracy to demoralize Bangladesh knowing their defeat.’
The Prime Minister said, ‘After the formation of the government in 2009, the people of the people who are accused of crimes against humanity, including the murderers of intellectuals, have come to the trial of the people.’
Sheikh Hasina said with great determination that the government is taking a step forward by countering these instruments with great determination. We will make the nation free from stigma by implementing the punishment of all war criminals. No sage can deviate the nation from this path.‘
The Prime Minister said, ‘Those who are trying to protect the anti-humanity will also be brought to justice one day. We will be able to make Bangladesh a democratic, non-communal, happy-rich country free from militancy.’
‘The scheming of this anti-freedom evil force has not stopped. This defeated force of the liberation war killed the father of the nation on August 15, 1975. The oppression of free-spirited teachers, writers, journalists and politicians. The birth of militancy and terrorism is the birth of a nationwide terror reign from 2001 to 2006. In his speech, the Prime Minister said, ‘Father of the nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman fought against the long 24-year Pakistani discrimination and exploitation and organized the people of the country and declared independence.
