Laxmipur District Civil Surgeon Dr. Md. Abdul Gaffar Chowdhury has been admitted to the hospital due to coronavirus. Today (June 22) Monday morning, he was admitted to Dhaka's Anorter Khan Modern Hospital with fever, cold, chest pain and shortness of breath. In the evening, he was diagnosed with a clinically tested COVID-19 positive in the hospital.
Dr. Antor Hossain, Resident Medical Officer of Laxmipur Sadar Hospital, confirmed the poison around 9 pm.
He said that he was undergoing treatment for several days under the supervision of Dr. Salah Uddin, a medical consultant at Lakshmipur Sadar Hospital, who was experiencing fever, cold and chest pain for several days. He was found to be clinically tested positive for COVID-19 in the hospital.
