The district health department has reported that 4 people have died in Laxmipur Sadar, Ramgati and Ramganj with corona symptoms, Abdul Momin of Char Abjal of Ramgati, Morshed Alam and Angarpajar Babul Mita died in Darbeshpur of Ramganj in the morning.
46 more people have been identified in the district, 46, and 549 people have been infected.
On the other hand, the lockdown is going on for the 4th day with the 15 unions in the district, including 7 unions in Laxmipur, Ramgati, Raggati and Ramganj and 7 unions in Kamalnagar upazila and Sadar, but the local administration and municipality are working to implement the lockdown.
The surgeons of Laxmipur Municipality Alhaj Abu Taher said that the Ultar Councils are working to implement the lockdown in the areas which have marked the red zone and the lockdown will be implemented. The municipality and the police administration will be more proactive in order to carry out the lockdown.
Civil Surgeon Dr. Abdur Gaffer confirmed the poison, and the victims were suffering from fever, cold, cough and these people died of corona symptoms.
Superintendent of Police Dr. AHM Kamruzzaman and Deputy Commissioner Anjan Chandra Pal said that the way coronavirus infection has been spread.
