A writ was called in the High Court challenging the validity of the imprisonment of the journalist in Kuigram through the mobile court of the district administration.<\/p><\/div>\n

Bangla Tribune Executive Secretary Haroon Or Rashid filed a writ petition in the relevant branch of the High Court.<\/p>\n

His lawyer Ishrat Hasan said, Justice Md. Ashraful Kamal and Justice Sardar Md. The application may be heard in the High Court bench of Rashed Jahangir.<\/p>\n

In the application, Ariful Islam has been requested to issue a rule as to why it will not be contrary to the constitution, why Ariful Islam will not be compensated with Tk 50 lakh in the name of the task force.<\/p>\n

Also, the DC of Kujigram, Assistant Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate of Sin has been asked to give instructions for their roles and documents of the mobile court case against Arif and the management of task force have been called for.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, the Cabinet Department is investigating the allegations of imprisonment by calling a journalist from Bai in the middle of the night in Kuigram through the mobile court of the district administration.<\/p>\n

According to Kuigram journalist Ariful Islam, on Friday (March 13) midnight, the people of the district administration broke the door and entered in his arms.<\/p>\n

Later, he was sentenced to imprisonment by a mobile court sitting in the office of the District Commissioner.<\/p>\n

However, journalist Arif's colleagues and family claim that a pond is being renovated, the newspaper is reported by the Deputy Commissioner. Sultana Parveen was angry and hanged him.<\/p>\n

The incident of sending the journalist to jail in the middle of the night was a huge criticism of the cabinet department.<\/p>\n
