Ramgati: Land Minister Saifuzzaman Chowdhury Javed said that Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman had a dream of Sonar Bangla and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has raised the heart of the diamond Bengal to fulfill his dream. The Prime Minister is working tirelessly to realize the dreams of Bangabandhu. No people will be landless in Bangladesh. Already 50 thousand families have been sheltered through cluster villages.<\/p>\n
He said these things in the speech of the chief guest at the construction of the Killa and Guchchagram memorial pillar of Sheikh's Kulla and Guchchagram monument in Ramgatti's Ramgatti on Wednesday (December 18) afternoon.<\/p>\n
This meeting was organized by Ramgati Upazila Aomi League.<\/p>\n
The minister said that Bangabandhu was killed in his own family in 1975. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her sister Sheikh Rehana are out of the country because they are living outside the country. Allah has kept Sheikh Hasina alive to protect Bangladesh. Bangladesh is now self-reliant under her leadership.<\/p>\n
He also said that the leaders of Pakistan said that Bangladesh is a small country, can't do anything, today that Pakistan wants to make itself like Bangladesh because Bangladesh is now moving at the speed of a rocket.<\/p>\n
Ramgati Upazila Awami League Acting President Abdul Otaheed Murad presided over the event as special guests in the event were Laxmipur-3 (Sadar) Member of Parliament AKM Shahjahan Kamal, Laxmipur-4 (Ramgati and Kamalnagar) Constituency Member of Parliament Major (Retd) Abdul Mannan, Ramgati Upazila Parishad Chairman Sharaf Uddin Azad Sohel, Awatami League General Secretary Professor Abdul Othahad and Ramgati Municipality Mejbah Uddin etc.<\/p>\n
Incidentally, on February 20, 1972, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman came to Ramgati Upazila due to Meghna river erosion. In the time of the Durygha period, Bangabandhu inaugurated the construction of a fort by cutting the soil with his own hands to protect people and livestock.
