Awami League has started distributing nomination forms for women's seats in the 11th National Assembly elections. Interested women leaders have gathered at the Aomi League president's office in Dhanmondi to get the nomination of the party that came to power for the third consecutive term.<\/p><\/div>\n

On Tuesday (January 15) at 10 am, the nomination form distribution program was officially inaugurated by the general secretary of the party, Obaidul Quader, and the nomination form is being distributed from two booths.<\/p>\n

Nomination forms are being distributed in one booth and another booth for Chittagong, Rangpur, Khulna and Sylhet divisions in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Barisal and Mymeningh divisions.<\/p>\n

The general secretary of the Dhaka South Metropolitan Committee of Jubo Mahila League was the first to buy the nomination form.<\/p>\n

Among the candidates who bought the nomination form, the party's general secretary Mahmuda Begum Krik said, \"I am very hopeful of getting the party's nomination as a woman MP from the 11th National Assembly. I have been working with common people and party leaders for a long time. I hope the party will evaluate my work.\"<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Najma Akhter, president of the Central Committee of Jubo Mahila League, collecting the nomination form, said, \"I am very hopeful to get the nomination. However, I will accept the decision that the party will take. If it is If I get a chance, I will work on women's rights.<\/p>\n

Member of the nomination form sale committee and co-editor of Awami League's central sub-committeer Arifuzzaman Mia Tutul said that the nomination form sale will continue till Friday (January 18) and the next day i.e. Saturday (January 19) the party has a rally. However, if necessary, the nomination form will be sold.<\/p>\n

\u2018Also, the nomination forms will be sold every day from 10 am to 4 pm. But if the crowd of aspirants is high, the time can be extended,\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n

The Election Commission (EC) will announce the schedule for the election of 50 representatives of the 11th National Parliament in the 11th National Parliament.<\/p>\n

EC Secretary Helaluddin Ahmad said that before the announcement of the schedule, the EC will ask the political parties to know whether they will elect a single or coalition.<\/p>\n
