Dhaka: Election Commission (EC) Secretary Helaluddin Ahmad has said that the schedule of reserved seats in the National Parliament will be announced on February 17.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He gave this information in a press conference on Monday (January 14) at the midata center of the election building.<\/p>\n

Helaluddin Ahmad said, according to Article 65(3) of the Constitution, 50 seats are determined for reserved women's seats. We will inform them in a letter to those who are in the political party. We will send a letter to them to inform us whether they will join any other political party for the election of women's seats. And those who are independent candidates will inform us that they will be single or in a coalition.<\/p>\n

He said, the Election Commission has given instructions, when we know that by January 30, how they will hold the election, then we will prepare the voter list on February 12. The schedule will be announced on February 17. The final schedule of nomination papers, selection of nomination papers and withdrawal of candidature will be known in the detailed schedule.<\/p>\n<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
