When asked whether the date of the polling will be re-determined or not, or whether the schedule will be rescheduled or not, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) KM Nurul Huda told reporters that a decision will be taken tomorrow in this regard. Earlier in the afternoon, Election Commissioner Rafiqul Islam told reporters in Rangpur that the commission members will sit and decide on the issue of finalizing the schedule.<\/p>\n
According to the current schedule, the polling will be held on December 23. And the nomination papers will be submitted till November 19.<\/p>\n
Before the announcement of the schedule, the National Oikya Front and the Left Democratic Alliance demanded to postpone the schedule, and after the announcement of the schedule, BNP, United Front and Islami Andolan Bangladesh are now demanding to postpone it.<\/p>\n

AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury, Chairman of the United Front and President of Alternative Bangladesh, has sent a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner to request the date of receipt of the VAT, submitting nomination papers, verification, and withdrawal of candidature.
\nOmar Farooq, the organizing secretary of the alternative movement, Presidium member Abdur Rauf Mannan and other people from the party went to B Chowdhury's letter at three o'clock in the morning on Sunday.<\/p>\n
B Chowdhury also said in his letter that it will be difficult to take the nomination papers of the candidates in a short period of time as per the announced schedule, it will be difficult to take the nomination papers, the date of submission of the nomination papers is one week.
