The government has announced the complete ban on the main breeding season of hilsa for the preservation of hilsa resources, i.e. from October 7 to October 28, a total of 7,000 square kilometers of the breeding ground, collecting, transporting, stocking, marketing and selling.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

On Sunday (September 23), the National Task Force Committee of the National Task Force Committee regarding the implementation of the \u2018Mother Hilsa Conservation Campaign-2018\u2019 during the main breeding season under the chairmanship of Fisheries and Livestock Minister Naratan Chandra Chand was held at the Secretariat on Sunday (September 23).<\/p>\n

The breeding grounds are - Shaher Khali to Haitkandi Upazila, North Tajumuddin of Tajumuddin Upazila to West Saidpur Aolita, Lata Chapali Poanta of Kalapada Upazila and Gandama from North Qutubdita of Qutubdita Upazila.<\/p>\n
