Law Minister Anisul Haque has said that Section 302 (death penalty) will be tried if the accident is not proved in the investigation of the case of Transport Act.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

He said that the current government transport law has made it non-bailable for 5 years but this is not the end, if the investigation is done. If the information is proved, it will be eligible for the case under Section 302 of the Bangladesh Penal Code. Here the investigation report and testimony of the investigating officer will be judged under Section 302 or Section 304.<\/p>\n

The Law Minister told reporters at the Secretariat on Monday (06 August) at noon.<\/p>\n

Anisul Haque, Anisul Haque, told reporters in the briefing that the new law was intent on, naturally people's interest in this law is so old, and the existing law is very old.<\/p>\n

He said that the previous law had 177 sections. In the current law, it has been made 124 and has been arranged in 14 sections. Driving license has been brought in, the regulator has been brought in, driving and managing the vehicles and all the provisions.<\/p>\n

The law minister said that an accident should not be called an accident only. It can be seen that the case could be dealt with intentional mistakes or if it had been accidented, then this case will be tried. The case will be tried in section 302. The case will be taken to the speedy trial court according to the importance of the case and the interest of the people. In the meantime, the government has taken the issue of taking two cases of the airport in the 302nd section of the speedy trial court.<\/p>\n

\u2018In making this law, the government has taken the highest rule of the case and the court of all the cases related to this. It is possible to do the rules which are not possible to take It will be done,\u2019 added Anisul Haque.<\/p>\n

Earlier in the morning, Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina presided over the meeting with the provision of maximum five years of sentence and fine due to the negligence of the driver's negligence in the cabinet meeting.<\/p>\n
