The traditional Lokayat Sangeet Baul Sandhya was held on the initiative of the local people in Uttarpara of Uttarpara of Sreepur Municipality. This Baul Sandhya was held in Uttarpara Open Field of Ward No. 1 of the Municipality on Wednesday, October 4.<\/p>\n
Baul Sandhya was present as the chief guest, former councilor of Ward No. 1 of Sripur Municipality Md. Ahmadul Kabir Mandal (Dara). Former student leader of Sreepur University College, Mayor candidate Md. Nasim Mandal was present as a special guest.<\/p>\n
In the speech of the special guest, Nasim Mandal said, \"If we want to build a drug-free society, we must first be aware of the parents of the family, we cannot eliminate drugs from the society until the parents are not aware of their children. Find out where your child goes and who you associate with whom. If every family is free from drugs, the society will be free from drugs, the country will be drug free.\"<\/p>\n
Nasim Mandal said about Baul songs, Baul song is a part of the culture of Bangladesh, it is the tradition of our culture, the nature of modern Bengal, the soil and people's mind are revealed through Baul songs.<\/p>\n
Baul Sandhya program was inaugurated by Tipu Sultan, General Secretary of Sreepur Press Club. Under the chairmanship of Sripur Sub Registry Office President Humayun Kabir Gazi and Baul artist and music guru SM Mostafar, Baul spoke in the evening, Mansoor Ahmed, former general secretary of Sreepur University College Branch Chhatra Dal, Kamruzzaman Mandal, vice chairman candidate in Sripur Upazila Parishad, former student leader Rakibul Hossain Akand, General Secretary of Paur Krishak Dal Md.
