Charbhadrasan upazila of Faridpur has continued to do anti-narcotics campaign and administrative activities, but the spread of drugs is not worrying. From the upazila headquarters to the remote grasslands, there have been allegations of the spread of drugs like \u09deba, ganja and heroin, especially a section of the youth and youth, who are worried about the risk of drugs.<\/p>\n
Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) has recently conducted several operations by the upazila administration and Thana Police to control the drug. In the 9 mobile courts led by Julhas Hossain Sourav, 9 people were imprisoned and fined in various medals in various cases. On the other hand, in the special operation of Charbhadrasan police station, 11 drug cases have been filed in the last 11 drug cases. These cases have been arrested and sent to the court. 10 of them have been arrested in an immediate trial.<\/p>\n
According to the information of the administration and police sources, two people were sentenced to six months in the mobile court organized by the Upazila Nirbahi Officer's office and seven people were sentenced to one month in prison. At the same time, each of them was fined Rs 100.<\/p>\n
The convicted persons are Manik Molla (26), Rima Akhtar (20), Sheikh Masud (28), Rubel Sheikh (35), Mohammad Ashraful (40), Md. Mojibur Rahman (40), Md. Bablu (47), Prakash Chandra Sheel (28) and Rashed Mridha (30).<\/p>\n
Meanwhile, Charbhadrasan police station sources said that 11 drug cases have been filed in the last few months in the special operation of the police. In addition to arresting 13 people, 317 pieces of e-taba have been recovered from them. The court has sent 10 of the arrested persons to jail in various cases through immediate trial.<\/p>\n
The persons arrested in the police operation are Jamal Beg (40), Rashedul Khan Rajib (20), Sagar (28), Salim Bepari (43), Monaim Sardar (34), Masum Sheikh (44), Md. Lalon Kha (28), Champa Begum (55), Mukta Akhtar (25), Kamal Molya (45), Manu Malo (40), Alam Sheikh (30) and Ripon Sardar (32).<\/p>\n
However, despite so many raids and arrests, the spread of drugs has not stopped completely, the locals have complained that the supply and sale of drugs is going on in the remote grasslands of the Padma river.<\/p>\n
Local sources say that some children of expatriate families are at risk of going astray due to lack of adequate family supervision. Some of them are in danger of going astray in various places on luxury motorcycles. In addition to this, the incident of exposure to drugs is also concerned, but these allegations are not being made by the people concerned about these allegations.<\/p>\n
Upazila Nirbahi Officer said about the drug situation. Julhas Hossain Sourav said that the upazila is in need of strengthening the administrative campaign to prevent the spread of drugs, which is the cooperation of people from all walks of life including political figures, cultural organizers, social workers and media workers.<\/p>\n
